Independence Cup Tournament. A team made up of world’s best cricket players has
suffered defeat against the Pakistani team in Pakistan. The match which was
held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore has made up for a good show with the
mind-blowing performance of Babar Azam who scored 86 runs in 52 balls.
The match has been special to both the
Pakistani cricketers as the players waited for nearly 8 years to play an
international match in their homeland. It has also been special to the
Pakistani cricket enthusiasts as this is the first time in the long gap that
they have been able to witness an international match taking place on their
home grounds. The win has made the special event a scintillating memory for

Pakistan elected to bat first and left the
World XI with a target of 197. The World XI team, though performed brilliantly
were outperformed by the excited Pakistani bowlers Sohail Khan, Rumman Raees
and Shadab Khan. The trio seized two wickets each leading the team to a
victorious conclusion. The match had been a spectacular watch and gathered a
worldwide audience.
The second match of the tournament will
take place today i.e., on 13th September 2017. The second match which decides
